I/ITSEC 2019: Cubic to deliver P5 CTS for Typhoon customer

Cubic Global Defense has announced that it is to deliver its P5 Combat Training System (CTS) to an international Eurofighter Typhoon customer.

The contract was awarded by BAE Systems and includes the airborne pods, ground sub-systems and logistics support.

Shephard understands that the customer is Qatar and the P5s are being used to support the 24 aircraft that it has on order.

The P5 CTS provides combat aircraft with a live training capability through recording the live air picture, recording mission data, assessing weapon engagements and relaying time, space and positioning information – or TSPI – between aircraft.
