Following the release of the RfP for the US Army’s Common Driver Trainer (CDT) requirement in September, commercial bids have now been returned and are being assessed by the US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) in Orlando.
CDT has been a long running programme in the US Army with Leidos having won the last contract for an additional 14 systems in November 2016. Other companies involved over the years have included SAIC, Raydon and Arotech FAAC.
