Over the past two years Saab Training has introduced a number of innovative apps that have been designed to enhance live training.
Prefaced WE, standing for Win Excon, Saab’s exercise control software, these apps include WE: ARE, an augmented reality solution to assist observer controllers; WE: X, a real-time gunnery results display system; and WE:Go, an app designed to display individual soldier data.
The latest addition is WE:Treat, a medical treatment simulator for combat medics. Running on a smart phone or tablet, WE:Treat is based on customer feedback from 14 countries that are members of the Interoperability User Community.
