I/ITSEC 2018: MQ-9 training contract won by CTI
Memphis, Tennessee-based Crew Training International Inc (CTI) has been awarded the US Air Force’s firm-fixed-price contract for the MQ-9 Contract Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CATCD) training programme.
Potentially worth $241.4 million over the life of the programme, CTI replaces CAE as the training provider and will undertake MQ-9 CATCD duties until 30 September 2023. Current funding for the programme covers the initial 12-month phase-in period.
CTI are no strangers to the programme having undertaken the role from 2008-2013. Reflectone were the first incumbents from 1998-2003 for the MQ-1 (becoming CAE USA in April 2001). CAE then took over the
