Marathon Targets' autonomous robot targets are continuing to provide service to warfighters in live training environments more than a decade after their entry into the market, according to company officials, 

From the first delivery in 2007, units of the autonomous robotic targets are still widely in use and operated globally.

Brad Brown, general manager at Marathon Targets, told Shephard that the company has deployed more than 200 around the world since the technology was launched.

With its foam-filled tyres and the electrical components stored and protected in a bulletproof shell, a soldier’s accuracy, shot results and metrics are fed back
