Shephard speaks with business leaders at I/ITSEC 2018 to understand what is motivating and influencing technology trends in the military and simulation market.
Esterline Simulation Visual Systems (SVS) has added to its TREALITY range of rear-projection domes with the introduction of the RP-X, a new offering that is aimed at the fast-jet training market.
The TREALITY RP-X products feature a full 360° field of view and employs the latest projector technologies to, according to the company, ‘achieve lowest total cost of ownership and [achieve] superior image quality with a compact footprint’.
The new family of TREALITY RP-X domes is compatible with applications requiring separate NVG image generator channels, can achieve eye-limiting resolution and can be used to display full 3D stereoscopic simulation images.
