I/ITSEC 2018: Bangladesh Air Force plans NVT procurement

The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Directorate of Air Training has issued a tender specification for a virtual night vision trainer (NVT) for installation at its Aero Medical Institute (AMI) in Kurmitola, near the country’s capital city, Dhaka.

According to the tender document, the NVT should depict dynamically changing scenes that include flights over water, land and mountainous terrain; the ability for the instructor to control various atmospheric conditions, including moon phases and ambient starlight; pre-programmed flight profiles; and the ability for multi-crew to practice crew resource management.
