I/ITSEC 2017: Trailer-based UH-72 simulator delivered (video)
Pennsylvania company Fidelity Flight Simulation Inc. (F2Si) announced at I/ITSEC this year that it has now successfully delivered six UH-72A Synthetic Flight Training Systems (SFTS) to the US National Guard.
The SFTS is a trailer-based Flight Training Device (FTD) that is designed to meet FAA Level 6 FTD requirements, allowing UH-72A aviators to retain proficiency in high-risk conditions such as emergency situations.
Shephard spoke to Dave Franks, aeronautical engineer at F2Si, about the new simulator and its capabilities.
