I/ITSEC 2017: Rheinmetall trucks on with driver training

In early November, Rheinmetall transferred the first of 35 MAN TGX series trucks to the German Armed Forces n Oldenburg for driver training.

The contract is worth around €3.2 million before tax and Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) booked the vehicle order in 2016. The official handover of the first of the MAN TGX 26.360 6x2-2 LL trucks took place at the German Armed Forces’ driver training centre.

Representatives of BwFuhrparkService (BwFPS), the Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In Service Support and the head of the German Armed Forces’ Driver Training Centre were all present at the event,
