I/ITSEC 2017: EDM highlights ejection seat for T-X (video)
The UK’s EDM, a supplier of training simulators to the defence, rail and civil airline training sectors, is highlighting a Martin-Baker Mk18 ejection seat at I/ITSEC 2017.
The company is offering to provide replica Mk18 seats for the US Air Force’s Advanced Pilot Training T-X programme ground based training system element.
The Martin-Baker Mk 18 seat has been specially designed for the T-X competition and development is scheduled to finish by the end of this year with testing taking place in 2018.
EDM said that its replica ejection seats ‘enhance standard flight simulator seats and contain numerous dynamic modules
