Virtual Heroes, a division of Applied Research Associates (ARA), is demonstrating some of its latest 3D virtual-world technologies at I/ITSEC in Orlando, including a new editing suite and cloud-based serious game.

The company is showing its Unreal Engine 4 Studio, a high-fidelity, real-time editing and viewer tool that allows for real-time modification of effects. This includes changing virtual objects, terrain datasets and interactive definition of weather and in-world annotation for future review.

‘With this system, you can purchase licencing seats; one seat will be around $10,000 with no time restrictions,’ said Randy Brown, VP division manager at Virtual Heroes.
