I/ITSEC 2015: A brighter budget outlook on the horizon

While last year’s I/ITSEC saw budget uncertainty amid concerns about sequestration the future for the training market is looking up.

Although budgets are not expanding there is more certainty as to how much money is available for future development programmes, assisting the planning and implmentation process.

‘What we have today is more budget clarity. At the programme level managers have been able to execute programmes and a year down the road budgets have not been cancelled or reduced.’ said Gene Colabatistto, group president for defence at CAE.
