CAE has selected Barco to supply projectors for the company’s helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft simulators.
The two-year product supply agreement, announced at I/ITSEC in Orlando, will see Barco supply its FL35 WQXGA LED/DLP to the Canadian simulation company.
The projectors offer 2,560x1,600 resolution and the company claims it can double the brightness of standard LED projectors.
CAE already offers its CAE 3000 Series of helicopter flight and mission simulators and its CAE 7000 Series of Level D full-flight simulators with Barco FL35 LED projectors on board.
