The US Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM) SOFWERX collaboration enterprise is preparing to conduct a Capability Assessment Event focused on expanded mission payloads for small UAS (SUAS). In concert with the USSOCOM Program Executive Office for C4 MISO, SOFWERX is exploring mission payloads that comply to the Expeditionary Organic Tactical Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) Capability Set (EOTACS)’s systems, which are “group 1” SUAS.
