SGA14: MSA capabilities touted at Singapore Airshow

Companies have identified gaps in maritime surveillance capabilities as a key regional requirement and vied at Singapore Airshow to tell the story of their competing offerings.

The dearth of effective monitoring in the region was illustrated clearly in Malaysia in February last year when armed intruders were able to land undetected in the state of Sabah, part of Malaysian Borneo, and take over a local village.
