IMDEX Asia: QinetiQ ViewFinder fuses sensor data

QinetiQ will unveil a new combat management system for naval vessels called ViewFinder at the IMDEX Asia 2015 exhibition.

The system, developed as part of R&D efforts with the UK MoD, fuses data from multiple sensors to build a detailed picture of the air, land, surface and sub-surface environments.

It continuously monitors friendly, neutral and hostile tracks and highlights any abnormal activity, with the aim of reducing operator burden and maximising reaction times.
