IDEX 2015: DCNS eyes Middle East expansion

Following the sale of a FREMM frigate to Egypt this month, DCNS believes that there are further opportunities for naval vessels in the Middle East region.

Jean-Luc Thouvenel, GCC regional delegate for DCNS, told Shephard at the IDEX exhibition that the company’s presence in the region is based on its footprint established in Saudi Arabia where they support ships bought from France in the 1990s.
