US Army prepares for 2nd Security Force deployment
When the US Army’s 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) deploys, the brigade will need to be better prepared to help their partner’s operate commonly used weapons in the region.
Speaking on 29 August, Army Secretary Mark Esper reflected on a some of the lessons learned out of the 1st SFAB’s inaugural deployment — a unit out of Fort Benning, Georgia that deployed in February 2018 to Afghanistan.
