Two modes for UK Scout vehicle
The British Army’s future Scout recce vehicle will be fitted out in two configurations: major combat operations (MCO) and peace support operations (PSO).
The major difference is that the MCO outfit will include the primary sight and an armour fit, whilst those conducting PSO will instead be equipped with a different armour package, a self-defence weapon and an electronic countermeasures fit.
The MCO and PSO designs are the most up to date available until the ‘real thing’ emerges from their factory in Seville, Spain later in 2015, Scout programme manager at General Dynamics UK Kevin Griffin said at the International
