Turkey selects Weapon Carrier
The Turkish SSM has chosen local vehicle manufacturer FNSS over its rival Otokar for its new Weapon Carrying Vehicle (WCV) programme.
SSM stated on its website that it had entered into contract negotiations with FNSS and this is expected to be finalised in the coming months.

WCV has a tracked and wheeled vehicle component that will carry an Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM). Detailed specifications for the WCV were released in 2014 and both Otokar and FNSS responded to an RFP in December
