Thai Mosquito gains zap with Aselsan RWS
The AFV-420P Mosquito 4x4 armoured vehicle made by Thai company Panus Assembly performed its first live-fire trials on 18 June with an Aselsan Stabilised Advanced Remote Weapon Platform (SARP) RWS installed.
The successful tests utilising an M2 12.7mm machine gun were conducted before a Royal Thai Marine Corps (RTMC) audience. They included static firing, firing on the move, single-shot and burst firing.
Panus Assembly is attempting to sell this vehicle type to the Thai armed forces.
