Taiwan orders more CM34 IFVs
The Republic of China Army (ROCA) will order an additional 21 CM34 Cloud Leopard 8x8 IFVs armed with a 30mm cannon for the Military Police Command, on top of identical vehicles destined for regular army troops.
This was announced by the Ministry of National Defense on 25 August. MG Yu Yu-tang of the Armaments Bureau said the indigenous Taiwan Infantry Fighting Vehicle (TIFV) will ‘help reinforce the capability of the Military Police’.
A total of 284 CM34 vehicles (in the left of the photo above) are already on order for the ROCA, with series production commencing last year and expected
