Saab inks co-operation agreement with IBD
Saab has signed a co-operation agreement with IBD Deisenroth Engineering aimed at the development of vehicle survivability solutions. Saab announced the agreement on 29 January.
IBD’s expertise lies in the research, development and manufacturing of products that provide a defence capability to protect military platforms from attack. Together with Saab, the companies will work to develop advanced survivability solutions for land, sea and air applications.
Görgen Johansson, head, Saab business area Dynamics, said: ‘The co-operation with IBD will give our companies a possibility to provide effective survivability solutions and it will give the possibility to provide new high tech solutions.’
Ulf Deisenroth, president, IBD, added: ‘The worldwide presence of our cooperation partner Saab will allow IBD much better access to international markets for new advanced technologies.’
