Russian T-14 Armata MBT completes factory testing effort
The Russian Army’s new T-14 Armata MBT completed its factory testing in 2018, and is now set to begin the more comprehensive state testing effort to be carried out by the MoD’s military research institutes.
According to the Russian MoD, the factory testing was completed in a successful manner. The state testing effort will evaluate the T-14’s compliance with the preliminary tactical and technical specifications.
In addition, tanks will also be handed over to selected Russian Land Forces front-line units for field testing. This operation is set to be undertaken by the elite 2nd Guards Taman Mechanised Rifle Division stationed in
