Rheinmetall outlines infantry weapon strategy

A Rheinmetall executive has outlined the company's infantry armament strategy, which has identified the range limitations of current infantry rifles as one issue the company is seeking to solve.

In its research on the future army squad, the company has noted that the effectiveness of weapons in theatre is currently not good enough, and the range that weapons can shoot to needs to be increased.
