Raytheon wins US Army operations and training services contract
Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, has won a US Army Forces Command contract to provide an expedited process in satisfying the needs of operational customers throughout the US Army and the Department of Defense. This indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multiple-award task order contract has a ceiling value of $2.5 billion.
Under the Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services (OPTARSS) II contract, task orders will be issued for services that address operational planning; training; modeling and simulation; flight operations; mobilization plans and execution; deployment operations; force protection and transformation. OPTARSS II is a five-year contract.
“RTSC’s strong capabilities in training, logistics and engineering services are key enablers in our OPTARSS II team’s ability to meet the customer’s mission requirements,” said John Harris, RTSC’s president.
“We have assembled a diverse team of small-, medium- and large-business partners, all of which are focused on offering services and solutions to our warfighters, anytime and everywhere,” Harris added.
