Sweden prepares to receive final hammers of Thor
BAE Systems Hägglunds will deliver the last of 40 CV90 twin 120mm Mjölner (‘Hammer of Thor’) self-propelled mortar (SPM) systems to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) in Q4 2020.
Tommy Gustafsson-Rask, MD of BAE Systems Hägglunds, said the Mjölner system is being delivered ‘on time and on cost’.
He claimed that the integration of Mjölner with the CV90 platform ‘gives an advantage and makes a difference for the army in the battlefield’.
