Malaysia seeks a score of peacekeeping APCs
Malaysia has issued a tender for 20 4x4 APCs for its United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) contingent.
The tender, issued on 1 October and closing on 3 November, said little about specifications, only that the vehicles must be able to operate in Lebanese terrain and a temperate environment with four-season weather, and that the vehicles be new and unused.
The 20 APCs will replace a similar number of Condor 4x4 APCs currently operating with MALBATT.
Further specifications will be only revealed during a tender briefing on 7 October, but the vehicles will have to comply
