Brazil plans diverse uses for JLTVs
After Oshkosh Defense announced the sale of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) to Brazil, the national MoD confirmed its intention to deploy these platforms for UN peacekeeping, law enforcement and amphibious missions carried out by the Brazilian Marine Corps.
A spokesperson for the Brazilian MoD told Shephard that the aim is to improve mobility and protection for Brazilian Marines at home and abroad in UN operations.
