Arquus seeks to apply more advanced technologies to vehicle range
French company Arquus (part of Volvo Group) plans to improve its ground vehicle capabilities by adding innovative technologies. Its focus is on enhancing survivability and using hybrid energy, as well as taking advantage of robotic and digital systems.
‘We have to permanently adapt to what is happening on the battlefield,’ Arquus director of innovation Christian Jacques said during a 10 March press conference.
In terms of energy, Jacques stressed that hybridisation would reduce the consumption of fossil fuels as well as logistical footprints.
