Philippines receives Humvee ambulances
The Philippines has bolstered the ability of military units around the country to give immediate medical response to wounded soldiers with the delivery of 23 M1152 Humvee ambulances on 26 January.
Ordered to meet a forward health support system requirement, the vehicles will also prove valuable in the disaster relief missions regularly required.
Manufactured by AM General, the new Humvees were commissioned into the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) during a turnover ceremony at its headquarters in Quezon City, Manila.
