Oshkosh’s JLTV hits the jackpot
The US Army has announced a $1.69 billion order for Oshkosh’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) at full rate production (FRP) and this could now pave the way for international exports, which, in turn, may potentially drive down unit costs of the vehicle, Shephard has learnt.
Both the US Army and USMC will begin receiving the JLTV in FY 2019 and each service will reach Initial Operating Capability in FY 2020.
