MSPO 2015: AMVs head down under
The Australian Army is to receive three Patria 8x8 AMV armoured fighting vehicles by the end of the year for testing for the Land 400 Phase 2 programme.
The three vehicles would be base-platform vehicles and would be shipped to Australia by Christmas, according to a spokesperson for Rosomak – part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) – at the MSPO exhibition in Kielce, Poland.
The Rosomak vehicle – a translation of Wolverine – is a Polish variant of Patria’s AMV 8x8 modified and built in Poland to meet their requirements. The AMV’s sent down under do not include any weapon systems as the
