MBDA unveils Enforcer ATGM
MBDA has disclosed detail of Enforcer (KFK) - a new low-cost 86mm shoulder-launched precision effects capability for the dismounted infantryman.
It is designed to engage lightly armoured static and moving targets, and targets behind cover.
Enforcer is a lock-on before launch, fire-and-forget disposable guided munition with an all up weight (munition and launch tube) of less than 9kg. It was first announced as a concept at Farnborough in 2010.
The new munition, housed in a rectangular launch tube assembly features a multi-effects warhead (penetration/blast/fragmentation) manufactured by TDW (part of MBDA) and is powered by a two-stage eject/boost rocket motor, manufactured
