DSEI 2017: Lockheed aims for profitable turret market

Having already achieved success supplying turret systems for the British Army’s new Ajax vehicle and Warrior upgrade programme, Lockheed Martin UK (LMUK) is now eyeing several opportunities in the lucrative export market.

During a recent visit to its turret manufacturing facility in Ampthill, LMUK officials told Shephard that it believed the sales opportunities for its turret solutions could be worth around £4 billion over the next five years.
