Land Forces 2018: EOS launches lightweight RWS
Australian company EOS launched its new lightweight R150 RWS on opening day at Land Forces 2018 in Adelaide, with production expected to commence before the end of the year.
The R150, developed through collaboration between EOS and the Australian defence establishment over the past three years, is designed to be installed on vehicles like the Hawkei and MAN trucks in Australian Army service.
At Land Forces, it was shown mounted on Praesidium Global’s 6x6 UGV.
The R150 weighs just 75kg, and Grant Sanderson, CEO of EOS Defence Group, said it was the only RWS in its weight class able
