Insight: French vehicle competitions heat up
France continues to march forward with its Scorpion modernisation programme, with the recent delivery of the first Griffon multirole armoured vehicles (VBMR) on schedule this June.
As the nation looks to its future requirements other members of French industry, outside of Nexter, Arquus and Thales, are looking at how they can get a slice of this programme as the French programme agency, the DGA, opens up the project to competition.
