IDEB 2018: Austria concludes winter BvS10 trials
The Austrian Army has concluded winter trials of BAE Systems’ BvS10 ahead of serial production.
The first army trials have been completed following the announcement in 2016 that the Austrian government had ordered 32 vehicles under a government-to-government arrangement with Sweden.
Displaying the vehicle straight from field testing in its troop carrier configuration at IDEB 2018, Tore Aksér, BvS10 platform manager at BAE Systems Hägglunds told Shephard that first deliveries of the platforms are expected to commence later this year with all deliveries complete by the first half of 2019.
