French Army receives 250 VT4 vehicles
The French Army is likely to have received 250 new VT4 vehicles from Arquus by the end of this week, as it continues to upgrade its vehicle fleet.
A spokesperson for the company told Shephard that the VT4 version (pictured) is Standard 2.2, an all-terrain, 4x4, non-armoured, light and versatile vehicle. This variant was designed for command post, patrol, training and liaison missions. It will replace the Peugeot P4.
Compated to the VT4 Standard 1, the new variant offers several improvements, including the integration of modern communication and positioning systems, extra racks, towing equipment and blackout lights.
