DVD2014: LAV III demonstrator from GD arrives
General Dynamics’ new LAV III demonstrator vehicle that includes upgrades for increased mobility, firepower and protection is on display at the DVD exhibition in Millbrook, UK.
Although touted as a contender for the British Army’s future Utility Vehicle programme, the vehicle is designed to show the additional capabilities that can be provided to the 8x8 IFV following experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan with Canadian and US forces.
