DSA 2016: Savox targets soldier upgrades

Savox Communications is eyeing up soldier modernisation programme opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Finnish company will be showcasing its Tactical headgear for changing Operational Requirements (THOR) integrated combat headgear system for the first time at DSA.

Savox partnered with Millog and FY-composites to develop the headgear system which was introduced to the market in Autumn 2015.

THOR is a modular system was initially developed for the Finnish Future warrior 2020 programme and the company believes it would be a good fit for other future soldier modernisation programmes. The THOR system can also be fitted into any legacy system.
