Defexpo 2014: Tata bidding for MGS
Tata Power has displayed its 155mm/52 calibre gun for the Indian Army’s Mounted Gun System (MGS) programme at Defexpo in Delhi for the first time.
A spokesman told Shephard that its MGS gun was developed indigenously after a two-year design and construction phase funded internally by the company.
‘We were able to develop this calibre gun for the first time because of our 20 years of experience on other land artillery and vehicle programmes,’ he said.
