Defexpo 2014: Rafael displays Spike ATGM trainer
Israeli armaments manufacturer Rafael is using the Defexpo exhibition to present its trainer for the Spike anti-tank guided munition (ATGM).
The Spike is under consideration by the Indian military, which is considering a purchase of about 8,356 systems at a cost of $1.5 billion. This would include 321 launchers that would be fitted to the Indian Army’s BMP-2 armoured vehicles and up to 15 trainers.
