Defexpo 2014: OFB show off indigenous artillery
India’s Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) displayed the Dhanush, a domestically-developed 155mm 45 cal towed gun system at the Defexpo exhibition in Delhi.
The company has built six prototypes for self-funded testing and a spokesman said that a seventh ‘is on the assembly line’. He added that they have almost completed winter trials in sub-zero temperatures and expect army user trials to follow shortly this month.
