DCS to support US Army TARDEC GVSP
DCS Corporation has received a five year prime task order to provide technical and programme support to the US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) Ground Vehicle Survivability and Protection (GVSP) directorate, the company announced on 18 September.
GVSP is responsible for ground vehicle ballistic protection, blast mitigating technologies and hit and kill avoidance initiatives for the Department of Defense.
Under this task order, DCS will provide research and development, design, prototyping, testing and integration support for vehicle systems, subsystems, and technologies.
This award consolidates several contracts into a single task order under the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Strategic Services Solutions research and development contract.
