Colt progresses on Canada's new GPMG
Colt Canada is in the process of finalising production and testing of low-rate versions of the C6A1 FLEX for the Canadian Army’s replacement General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) programme.
The company expects to complete testing by September 2018 and expects to complete full rate production by June 2019 as originally outlined in August 2017’s contract award.
Speaking to Shephard, Colt Canada explained that the company has a long history working on the C6 GPMG.
