BAE Systems unveils new CV90 variant for Czech Army
BAE Systems has launched a new variant of its IFV family, the CV90 MkIV, which will be offered to the Czech Army as part of the on-going competition to replace their fleet of Soviet-era BMP-II.
The new IFV, which supports a range of advanced computing technologies, is expected to be presented to other Eastern European nations including Hungary which is looking into new platforms. Other nations such as Sweden could be potential customers for the new variant as armies consider upgrading or replacing existing CV90 fleets.
