Australia receives RTVs
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) has taken delivery of new Rough Terrain Vehicles (RTVs) that will improve the off-road mobility of its commando forces.
A final instalment of 11 vehicles was received in June making a total of 19 RTVs. The first four were delivered in November 2014 a year after the contract with Bale Defence Industries was signed. It is valued at A$4.5 million and includes three years of spares support.
