AUSA 10: Government agencies primed for Sentinel
The US Department of Defense (DoD) and another undisclosed government agency are 'ready' to test and evaluate BAE Systems' Sentinel multi-mission off-road vehicle, according to company sources.
Speaking to Land Warfare International at the AUSA Annual Meeting on 27 October, BAE Systems' business development manager Sean Murphy, said the company was about to start production of a second armoured prototype which will be available for user tests by early 2011. The company was exhibiting its first unarmoured Sentinel prototype at the exposition in Washington, DC this week.
