AAD 2010: Du Pont brings latest products to Africa
Du Pont announced at African Aerospace and Defence 2010 that it was making two of its latest product lines available in the sub-Saharan region, which it sees as a growth market for the future.
The company's Kevlar-XP has been designed to reduce the weight of protective vests while also increasing the level of protection. A company spokesman said that Kevlar-XP was capable of reducing the weight of vest by as much as 20 to 25%.
